This bent over and re-sprouted tree is near an old Iroquois trading route. It is said that they marked their routes by bending over a sapling till it touched the ground. It would form an arch and re-sprout from the point of contact. Some think this tree may be an aged marker. Not too sure about that. It's a beautiful thought though. Comments are closed.
